Bitget, UNICEF Team Up for Blockchain Financial Literacy
Bitget, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with UNICEF to launch an educational program focused on blockchain financial literacy. The initiative aims to introduce learners to cutting-edge digital finance and blockchain technology by combining conventional financial concepts with a broader overview of the latest technologies.
The new course is designed to help learners develop practical knowledge and confidence in navigating digital financial systems. It covers key financial topics, including blockchain basics, credit, interest rates, loans, and budgeting, using interactive materials and quizzes to engage participants.
The program also includes a game-based education module called Neon Paycheck, which allows players to make daily financial choices and experience the consequences of their decisions. The game is part of the Game Changers Coalition's focus on using interactive experiences and video game development to spread practical skills.
According to Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, 'education is still important' and that young learners can acquire knowledge quickly when provided with suitable opportunities and tools. The program aims to equip young people with next-gen skills to keep pace with the evolving technological and economic environments.
