Bitget Unveils Compute Perpetuals for Trading AI Computing Power
Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced a new way to trade the price of AI computing power through perpetual contracts called Compute Perpetuals. The two available Pre-Market Compute Perpetuals are H100USDT and B200USDT, which track the price movements related to NVIDIA's H100 and B200 GPU rental capacity.
Unlike traditional futures contracts, Bitget Compute Perpetuals do not have a fixed expiration date and can remain open as long as the trader maintains sufficient margin. The perpetual contracts are designed to provide traders with a direct way to express their view on the supply and demand for AI computing power without buying hardware or renting cloud capacity.
The H100 Rental Price Index, which tracks the standardized hourly rental cost of NVIDIA H100 GPU computing capacity, rose in 2026, suggesting that the costs are increasing. A rising index indicates that the costs are going up, while a declining index suggests they are falling.
