Bitget UTA Delta-Neutral Strategy Boosts Capital Efficiency for Traders
Bitget Unified Trading Account (UTA) offers a delta-neutral strategy that pairs a long rToken Spot position with a short, equal-notional stock perpetual on the same underlying asset.
The goal is to reduce directional exposure while keeping access to funding-rate and basis opportunities. Eligible collateral can contribute value within the same account framework, reducing capital fragmentation and allowing traders to manage eligible assets, including supported rTokens, as configurable collateral.
For example, if a trader holds $10,000 of rNVDA in Advanced Mode, part of its value can contribute to available margin instead of sitting only as a Spot holding. The amount that counts as collateral depends on the asset's collateral ratio, which is adjusted based on market conditions and risk parameters.
The strategy is not risk-free, as funding rates can change, collateral ratios can fall, hedge sizes can drift, and liquidation or Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) can still occur. Traders should monitor margin, funding, basis, and position balance throughout the trade to maintain a delta-neutral setup.
