Bitget vs Trust Wallet: A Tale of Two Cryptocurrency Giants
Bitget and Trust Wallet are two popular platforms for buying, selling, and storing cryptocurrencies. Bitget stands out for its vast selection of over 1080 tradable cryptocurrencies, including a low spot fee of 0.1% and futures from 0.02%. Additionally, users can stake their assets, transfer wallets, and invest as little as €5.
However, Bitget does not have a license or regulation in the EU, and its headquarters are located in the Seychelles. The platform also lacks a savings plan and has been criticized for its user interface, which includes numerous popups and notifications after login.
In contrast, Trust Wallet offers more than 100 supported networks, including Bitcoin, with an open-source code that provides transparency and security. Users can set up their account without one, using biometric unlock and security checks to protect their assets. The platform also allows users to access decentralized applications directly from the wallet.
Despite its advantages, Trust Wallet has some drawbacks as well. It is owned by Binance, which may raise concerns about concentration of power. Additionally, the desktop functionality lags behind the mobile app, and support has been reported to be slow.
