Bitget Wallet Introduces Asset Cashback Program with Tokenized Stocks
Bitget Wallet has launched an innovative asset cashback program called Assetback. This feature allows users to receive Bitcoin, gold (XAUT), or tokenized US stocks and ETFs as rewards on their Bitget Wallet Card with every eligible purchase. The card is accepted worldwide through Visa and Mastercard networks in over 50 markets.
The traditional model of card rewards has been to return fiat currency or airline miles, which can lose value due to inflation or expiry. Assetback automatically converts every eligible reward into the user's chosen asset, with no need for a separate investment app or brokerage account. Eligible users can earn up to 3% asset cashback.
This move challenges the traditional card rewards model and brings the mechanics of dollar-cost averaging into everyday spending. It also expands the role of tokenized real-world assets beyond trading and institutional use, making global investment assets more accessible, particularly in markets where investing in US equities remains costly or difficult.
