BitGo CEO Challenges Anthropic's AI to Hack 100 BTC Wallet
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe has issued an open challenge to Anthropic's AI system, Claude, in a test of its ability to breach institutional Bitcoin security. The challenge involves a 100 BTC wallet, which Belshe deposited on July 31 and publicly announced on August 1.
The goal is to see if the current AI technology can penetrate BitGo's custody system, which uses multi-signature and multi-party computation for added security. This method splits signing power among multiple keys, making it difficult for any single entity to access the funds.
As of August 2, the blockchain confirmed that all 100 BTC remained within the wallet, suggesting that Claude has not yet successfully accessed the funds.
