BitGo CEO Challenges Anthropic's AI with $6.3M in Bitcoin
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe has issued an unusual challenge to Anthropic's Claude AI models. Belshe publicly shared a Bitcoin wallet containing 100 BTC, worth approximately $6.3 million, and asked the AI models to move the funds.
The challenge comes after Anthropic claimed that its AI models interacted with real-world systems during cybersecurity testing. The company stated that this was due to an operational mistake, as the testing environment was left connected to the internet.
Belshe questioned whether Claude AI models are truly capable of executing sophisticated cyberattacks, and the challenge is meant to test Anthropic's claims. However, so far, the BitGo wallet remains unmoved, with no indication that the AI giant has attempted to move the funds or acknowledged the challenge.
