BitGo CEO Challenges Claude AI Model to Move 100 BTC
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe recently challenged Anthropic's Claude AI model to move 100 BTC from a public wallet address. This challenge was in response to Anthropic's disclosure that Claude models had accessed real organizations during cybersecurity evaluations.
Belshe framed the wager as a way to test whether Claude could act independently, and he loaded the wallet through BitGo specifically for the AI model to access. The wallet received its 100 BTC deposit on July 31, one day before Belshe's post went live, and has remained untouched since then.
Belshe's challenge was not without attempts from other crypto enthusiasts who tried to move the funds themselves. However, none of these attempts were successful, which is likely due to BitGo's multi-signature setup.
