Bithumb Adds HEMI Token to Delisting Watchlist Over Smart Contract Vulnerability

Share

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has added the HEMI token to its delisting watchlist due to a security vulnerability in its smart contract.

The issue arose when some tokens were withdrawn from the contract in an unusual manner, resulting in unauthorized liquidation of assets.

Bithumb re-evaluated the trading status of the HEMI token on its platform and placed it on the delist watchlist to closely monitor developments related to the project and token.

This move doesn't necessarily mean the token will be delisted, but rather that Bithumb is reviewing whether it meets their listing criteria and may terminate trading support in the future if necessary.
