Bithumb Delays NEXO Listing to 6:00 UTC
Bithumb, one of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has pushed back its listing schedule for NEXO (the native token of lending platform Nexo) in Korean won (KRW).
The original plan was to open trading at 4:00 a.m. UTC on the day the listing went live, but the exchange has now set the go-live time to 6:00 a.m. UTC.
No specific reason was given for the delay, which is relatively short and may indicate an operational or technical adjustment rather than a regulatory issue.
The NEXO/KRW trading pair will open two hours later than initially expected, so traders should adjust their strategies accordingly.
NEXO's entry into the KRW market is significant because it provides direct access for South Korean retail investors, who often trade with high volumes.
