Bithumb Targets 2028 IPO Amid Growing Market Competition
Crypto exchange Bithumb has set its sights on going public by 2028. In an effort to prepare for this milestone, the company has begun strengthening internal controls and improving accounting standards.
Bithumb plans to file for a preliminary review in 2027 before completing the IPO in 2028. The company is working with domestic and overseas securities firms, accounting firms, and external experts to meet listing requirements.
Bithumb has streamlined its business structure by spinning off its core exchange operations from newer businesses to create Bithumb Asset. This move aims to clarify responsibilities between business areas and reduce potential conflicts of interest.
The company also plans to diversify its business portfolio and maintain sufficient liquidity to enhance confidence among investors.
