Bithumb Targets 2028 Public Listing Amid Governance Overhaul
Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has outlined its plan to go public by 2028, with a focus on strengthening corporate governance and financial transparency.
The company's initial public offering (IPO) roadmap consists of three phases. The first phase, set for this year, aims to upgrade internal control systems and adopt Korean International Financial Reporting Standards, aligning with leading financial firms.
Bithumb plans to file for a preliminary listing review next year and undergo regulatory review before completing its IPO in 2028. However, the timeline may change depending on market conditions and regulatory procedures.
The exchange is working with external advisers to support valuation, legal due diligence, and preparations for the preliminary listing review.
