Bithumb to Halt POL Deposits and Withdrawals for Polygon Network Upgrade
Bithumb, one of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced that it will temporarily suspend Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL) deposits and withdrawals on August 18 as part of a planned network upgrade.
The suspension will affect all POL deposit and withdrawal services on Bithumb, but trading of POL will continue to operate normally during this period. The exchange advises users to complete any pending POL transactions before the cutoff time to avoid inconvenience.
Bithumb has not specified an exact duration for the maintenance, but network upgrades typically require several hours. Trading on the spot market remains active, allowing users to buy or sell POL without interruption.
The exchange emphasized that it will resume services as soon as the network upgrade is successfully completed and stability is confirmed.
