BitMart Announces Phased Shutdown Amid Operational Challenges
BitMart, a central crypto exchange founded in 2017, has announced its phased shutdown. The platform will fully cease operations on January 31, 2027.
The company cited 'operational conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction' as the reason for the closure.
The shutdown timeline is as follows: registrations and deposits have halted since July 26, trading will cease on August 26, and the official platform closure will occur on January 31, 2027.
Futures accounts have been switched to reduce-only mode, and automated services such as Copy Trading, Grid Trading, and API Trading will be gradually disabled.
