BitMart Announces Shocking Shutdown of Trading Platform

Share

BitMart, a major cryptocurrency exchange that has been operating for nearly ten years, is shutting down its trading platform. The company announced on July 26, 2026, that it would cease all trading functions by August 26, 2026, and completely decommission its platform by January 31, 2027.

The exchange has halted fresh trades, deposits, and new user registrations, urging members to redeem their funds as soon as possible. In a statement, BitMart said that it made the decision after evaluating its operating conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction.

Users are advised to withdraw their assets early and cancel open orders before closing trading positions. Some withdrawals may be required to undergo additional verification, including KYC checking, sanctions screening, and compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
