BitMart Delivers SpaceX Shares to Every IPOPrime Subscriber
BitMart, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has secured a primary allocation of SpaceX (Nasdaq: SPCX) shares and delivered a portion to every participant in its IPOPrime program. This means that every subscriber to BitMart's IPOPrime received a real 40% allocation of the SpaceX stock, with any unfilled balance returned.
The move is notable because many other platforms were unable to secure an allocation and have refunded users in full. In contrast, BitMart was able to meet demand for SpaceX exposure and distribute shares accordingly. Each subscriber's commitment was filled on a pro-rata basis, with the average fill rate being around 40%.
The bSPCX token, which represents tokenized interests in a fund that holds real SpaceX equity, is now tradable on BitMart's secondary market at real Nasdaq prices. This is significant because it allows holders to trade and exit immediately, rather than having to wait six months as with some other offerings.
'When demand outruns supply, access is the whole game,' said Nenter Chow, Global CEO of BitMart. 'We secured our allocation and made sure every subscriber got a share - and with no lock-up, they can act on it today, not six months from now.'
