BitMart Exchanges Shut Down Amid Market Contraction
BitMart has announced it will shut down its cryptocurrency exchange, citing an evaluation of its operating conditions and market environment. Trading services are scheduled to end on August 26, with the company planning to complete operations by January 31, 2027.
The exchange has halted new user registrations and deposits, and futures trading is now in reduce-only mode. Spot markets are no longer accepting new orders.
BitMart's native token, BMX, fell sharply after the announcement, with prices dropping nearly 70% to around $0.09464 at the time of writing.
