BitMart Gives US Users 8 Days to Withdraw Crypto Amid Aggressive Compliance Checks

Share

BitMart has given its US users just days to withdraw their crypto assets before aggressive new compliance checks risk freezing their accounts. The deadline for withdrawals is August 8 at 23:59 UTC, earlier than the exchange's global trading halt on August 26.

The notice applies to users who reside in or are located in the United States, as well as those treated as US users under BitMart's agreement and policies. Covered users are advised to cancel outstanding orders, close applicable positions, redeem or withdraw eligible product balances, and remove their remaining assets.

After the deadline, BitMart may further restrict affected accounts, and remaining assets will be handled according to applicable law, the user agreement, and compliance procedures. Withdrawals under the deadline may require identity verification, source-of-funds information, proof of ownership, or a security review.
