BitMart Reconsiders Shutdown Plans, Considers Restructuring
Crypto exchange BitMart has made an unexpected U-turn in its plans to shut down. Initially, it had announced that it would wind down operations by January 31, 2027.
The company is now considering a restructuring plan as an alternative to full closure. This could involve a phased resumption of certain operations and payouts to creditors.
BitMart has engaged law firm White & Case to help develop the new plan. The exchange says it will provide its next update by September 9, 2026.
