BitMart Reverses Shutdown Plan, Eyes Phased Restart via Restructuring
BitMart, the cryptocurrency exchange, has reversed its decision to permanently shut down and is now exploring a phased restart through a restructuring process.
The exchange had previously announced plans to cease operations amid financial difficulties, but after further discussions with community members, stakeholders, and professional advisers, it has decided to reconsider its shutdown plan.
The revised approach could include an orderly, gradual restart of parts of its operations, subject to additional legal, financial, operational, and regulatory review. Asset distributions to creditors remain a key part of the plan.
The restructuring process is still in its early stages, and any resumption of services will be phased and orderly, prioritizing regulatory compliance and creditor interests.
