BitMart Wind-Down Slows Withdrawals Amid User Complaints
BitMart's planned wind-down appears to be slowing down withdrawals from its platform. According to blockchain analytics account Lookonchain, only 58 wallets withdrew around $805,000 in over 24 hours on Monday. In contrast, the exchange had not processed any withdrawals during the latest eight-hour period tracked.
Users of BitMart continue to experience difficulties with withdrawals. Some have reported receiving emails stating that their USDT withdrawal was completed when it actually wasn't. Others have seen pending transactions take over 30 minutes to process. These are individual claims and could not be verified.
BitMart's ability to return customer funds smoothly will be a key test of its promised 'orderly' wind-down. If successful, it may prevent a broader rush for the exits by users who are losing confidence in the exchange.
