BitMart Withdrawal Delays Spark Concern as Assets Plummet
BitMart is showing signs of withdrawal delays as it winds down operations. The cryptocurrency exchange announced plans to halt new user registrations and deposits, restrict new spot orders and futures positions, and eventually cease trading services on August 26.
The assets held by BitMart in crypto assets have decreased from about $102 million to around $69 million since July 6. Additionally, the exchange's native token BMX has plummeted by over 81% in just one week, trading at approximately $0.057 on July 27.
Some users claim they are experiencing difficulties withdrawing funds, with reports of pending transactions and frozen withdrawal statuses. BitMart had previously stated that some withdrawal requests might face additional review for regulatory compliance and security reasons.
