BitMart Withdrawal Slows Amid Wind-Down Uncertainty
BitMart's planned wind-down has hit another snag as customer withdrawals have slowed significantly after the exchange announced operational restrictions tied to its closure timetable.
According to blockchain analytics account Lookonchain, there were only 58 wallets withdrawing roughly $805,000 in more than 24 hours on Monday. Additionally, BitMart processed no withdrawals during an eight-hour period tracked by Lookonchain.
This slowdown has raised concerns among users and analysts, who are now closely monitoring the situation to see if withdrawal handling stays consistent or if delays broaden across customers.
BitMart has stated that withdrawals will remain available, but requests may face additional compliance and security checks. This means that even when withdrawals are technically possible, the timing can vary depending on whether an account or transaction triggers enhanced verification.
