BitMEX Shuts Down Early, Coinbase Launches US Stock Trading in UK
BitMEX has accelerated its delisting of futures on XRP (XRPU26), ADA, ETH, and BTC to August 10. The move comes ahead of the exchange's complete shutdown on September 23.
The reason for the rush is the full closure of BitMEX itself. To ensure fair settlements during the early closure, the platform will use adjusted indexes based on time-weighted average prices (TWAP), determined today, August 6.
