BitMine Adds 53,501 Ethereum to Treasury, Boosts Holdings to 5.9M

BitMine Immersion Technologies has added another large Ethereum purchase to its treasury, buying 53,501 ETH at an average price of $2,511. This move extends a significant buying streak that began in June 2025 and brings the company's total ETH holdings to 5,901,112 tokens as of August 30, 2026.

The purchase is worth approximately $14.8 billion and represents about 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply. Chairman Tom Lee noted that the company has kept adding Ethereum throughout the full treasury strategy period, which began on June 30, 2025.

The company holds a significant stake in Ethereum, with over 5 million tokens already staked through its institutional staking platform MAVAN. According to estimates, BitMine projects annualized staking revenue of around $335m from the staked ETH, based on a seven-day annualized staking yield of 2.63%.

The company's wider balance sheet includes other strategic investments and crypto assets, with a combined value of over $15.6 billion as of August 30.
