BitMine Adds Record Ethereum Stash, Nears 5% Treasury Target

BitMine Immersion Technologies has made another significant Ethereum purchase, adding 53,501 ETH to its holdings. This transaction brings the company's total Ether reserves to approximately 5.90 million, which represents around 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply.

This acquisition marks the 65th consecutive week of purchasing by BitMine, as it continues to work towards reaching its 5% treasury target for Ethereum holdings. The company currently holds about $15.6 billion in combined cryptocurrency, cash, and equity assets.

The purchase is significant because it keeps BitMine on track to meet its goal of holding 5% of Ethereum's total supply. With this move, the company solidifies its position as the largest publicly disclosed corporate Ethereum holder.
