Bitmine Closes in on 5% Ethereum Ownership Goal

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has made another significant Ethereum purchase, buying 10,399 ETH over the past week. This brings their total Ethereum treasury to 5,797,813 ETH, which is about 4.8% of the network's circulating supply.

The company is now just 96% away from its goal of owning 5% of all ETH, and Chairman Tom Lee stated that this purchase extends a buying streak that has run every week since June 30, 2025.

At their reference price of $1,880 per ETH, Bitmine's Ethereum holdings are valued at roughly $10.9 billion.

The company also repurchased 4.5 million common shares over the past week under its previously authorized $4 billion buyback program.
