BitMine Drops $48.9 Million on Additional 20,000 Ether

Share

Tom Lee-led BitMine has made another significant purchase of Ether, acquiring an additional $48.9 million worth of the cryptocurrency. According to on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain, a wallet linked to BitMine received 20,000 Ether from Kraken, a major crypto exchange.

The transfer was valued at approximately $2,445 per Ether, based on the time of the transaction. Although BitMine has not officially confirmed the purchase, Lookonchain inferred that it was an additional buy based on the transfer record.

BitMine's latest acquisition is a significant addition to its existing holdings, and raises questions about the company's investment strategy and market outlook. As one of the largest players in the cryptocurrency space, BitMine's moves are closely watched by investors and analysts alike.
