BitMine Expands Ethereum Holdings by 9,946 ETH

BitMine, a company known for its Ethereum holdings, has expanded its stash by 9,946 ETH over the past week. This increase brings its total balance to an impressive 5,787,414 ETH, which accounts for approximately 4.8% of Ethereum's circulating supply.

The significant growth in BitMine's Ethereum holdings underscores its continued focus on generating yield from its Ethereum treasury. Notably, a substantial portion of these holdings, about 85%, has been staked, indicating the company's commitment to capitalizing on Ethereum's staking opportunities.

BitMine's expansion into cryptocurrency investments is not limited to Ethereum alone. The company also reported repurchasing 6.1 million of its own shares during the week as part of its capital allocation strategy. Additionally, it disclosed that the combined value of its assets, including cryptocurrency holdings, cash, marketable securities, and other investments, reached $11.8 billion.
