Bitmine Expands Massive Ethereum Treasury and Staking Footprint
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, a blockchain infrastructure firm focused on Ethereum and Bitcoin networks, has expanded its massive digital asset treasury centered on Ethereum. The company's MAVAN staking platform provides institutional-grade staking and validation services while also operating bitcoin mining, strategic crypto management, and early-stage blockchain investments.
The company emphasizes yield generation on digital assets to support liquidity and capital formation for institutional and public market participants. As of August 17, 2026, Bitmine reported total crypto, cash, marketable securities, and 'moonshot' holdings of $11.4 billion, including 5.82 million ETH tokens, 4.8% of the total ETH supply, 5.07 million of which are staked.
These staked ETH tokens are generating projected annualized staking revenues of about $250 million. Management highlighted continued weekly ETH purchases since June 2025, progress toward owning 5% of ETH, and aggressive share repurchases exceeding 20.8 million shares under a $4 billion buyback.
