Bitmine Hits 5% ETH Milestone with $11.8 Billion Holdings

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.79 million tokens, representing about 4.8% of the total supply. The company's crypto and cash holdings now total $11.8 billion. This significant milestone comes just 13 months after Bitmine was 96% of the way to achieving 'the alchemy of 5%'.

The company has been actively repurchasing shares, with a recent purchase of 6.1 million common stock under its $4 billion share repurchase program. As of July 26, 2026, Bitmine's total staked ETH stands at 4,917,189, representing $9.6 billion at the current price of $1,948 per ETH.

In a statement, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, expressed optimism about the rising ETH/BTC ratio and its potential impact on crypto prices. He also highlighted the company's staking operations, which generated a 7-day yield of 2.65% (annualized). Bitmine's crypto holdings remain the #1 Ethereum treasury and #2 global treasury.
