Bitmine Hits 5.82 Million ETH Holdings, Total Crypto and Cash Holdings Reach $11.4 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.82 million tokens, representing nearly 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million. This milestone comes just 14 months after the company began its 'Alchemy of 5%' strategy to accumulate a significant portion of the Ethereum token supply.
The company's total crypto and cash holdings now stand at $11.4 billion, with a significant portion of this amount tied up in ETH. Bitmine has repurchased over 20.8 million shares of common stock since July 2026 under its $4 billion share repurchase program, with the goal of reducing the company's outstanding equity and increasing shareholder value.
Bitmine's Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that the company is encouraged by the strengthening fundamentals of crypto, as reflected in the recent outperformance of ETH over the Nasdaq 100. The ETH/BTC ratio has moved above its long-term downtrend, a sign that markets are beginning to see materialization of tokenization and agentic-AI applications.
Bitmine's staking operations have generated significant revenue, with annualized staking revenues now projected at $250 million. The company's own staking operations have generated a 7-day yield of 2.61%, and the projected ETH staking reward is $287 million on an annualized basis.
Bitmine remains one of the largest holders of Ethereum, with its total staked ETH standing at 5,067,309. The company's institutional-grade staking platform, MAVAN, has been expanded to serve not only Bitmine's own Ethereum treasury but also other institutional investors and ecosystem partners seeking best-in-class staking infrastructure.
