Bitmine Holds $15.8 Billion in Assets, Reserves Over 5.9 Million Ethereum
Bitmine, a company that has been actively purchasing Ethereum (ETH), now holds an impressive $15.8 billion in assets and reserves. According to PR Newswire, as of September 13, Bitmine's total holdings include $549 million in cash and marketable securities, $180 million in shares of Beast Industries, and $98 million in shares of Eightco Holdings. The company also holds 212 BTC (Bitcoin) and 5,956,378 ETH at a price of $2,513 each.
This accounts for 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply of 122 million. Bitmine has been staking 5,067,309 ETH, valued at $12.7 billion, with an expected annualized staking income of $334 million. The company's chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that the ETH/BTC ratio has risen to its highest level since January 30 and established a new upward trend.
This reflects Ethereum's strengthened position as Wall Street's tokenized settlement layer. Since launching its ETH reserve strategy on June 30, 2025, Bitmine has been purchasing ETH every week, with an additional 27,180 ETH acquired over the past week.
