Bitmine Keeps Stacking ETH as Rebound Gains Pace
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, an NYSE-listed company run by Tom Lee, continued its weekly accumulation of Ether last week. The firm purchased 32,447 ETH as the token rebounded sharply after a prolonged decline, bringing its total holdings to 5,847,611 ETH. This purchase pace keeps Bitmine on track with its nearly continuous accumulation schedule tied to its Ethereum treasury strategy, which was launched on June 30, 2025.
The company's latest buying streak extends to roughly 14 months, with it about 97% of the way toward its goal of owning 5% of the ETH supply. Bitmine reported staking 5.07 million ETH, representing around 87% of its holdings.
Earlier losses tied to Ether's drawdown have narrowed significantly, with DropsTab data showing unrealized paper losses falling below $5 billion from more than $8.4 billion about a week earlier.
