BitMine Lands Largest Weekly Ethereum Purchase Since June

BitMine has made its biggest weekly Ethereum purchase since June, buying over 53,000 ETH worth around $131.27 million at current prices. The company's stash now totals nearly 5.9 million tokens, putting it 98% of the way toward its goal of owning 5% of Ethereum's supply.

The Tom Lee-led firm has been steadily accumulating ETH since June 30, 2025, with 65 consecutive weekly purchases. BitMine has also staked roughly 5.07 million ETH, generating an estimated $335 million in annualized staking revenue.

The move comes as Ethereum outperforms the S&P500 so far this quarter, gaining around 23% compared to the index's 2.22% rise. Shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) edged higher in pre-market trade after the news.
