Bitmine Nears 5% ETH Ownership Milestone with Latest Acquisition

Bitmine has significantly increased its Ethereum holdings after acquiring 27,180 ETH last week. This purchase has pushed Bitmine's total ETH holdings to nearly 6 million tokens, accounting for about 4.9% of the total supply.

The company is now just shy of its goal of owning 5% of all Ethereum, requiring an additional 144,000 tokens to reach this milestone.

Bitmine also stakes over 5 million ETH, expecting hundreds of millions in annual returns from these staked assets. The combined value of its assets stands at a substantial $15.8 billion.
