Bitmine Nears 5% of All Ethereum through Treasury Buying

Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc., a Bitcoin and Ethereum Network company, has made significant strides in accumulating crypto for long-term investment. As of September 13, 2026, Bitmine's ETH holdings are 4.9% of the total ETH supply of 122 million tokens.

The company owns $15.8 billion in crypto, including 5.96 million ETH tokens, and total cash & marketable securities of $549 million. This totals to 98% of the 'Alchemy of 5%' goal in just 15 months.

Bitmine's Chairman, Tom Lee, expects a sharp upward move in Ethereum's price in coming weeks, stating that the current uptrend is supported by increased use of Ethereum as settlement rails for Wall Street tokenization and agentic-AI using blockchains.
