Bitmine Nears 5% of Ethereum Supply with $69.5 Million Ether Purchase

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has made another major purchase of Ether, buying 28,086 tokens last week for approximately $69.5 million.

This acquisition brings Bitmine's total Ether holdings to 5.93 million tokens, with an average price per token of $2,495.

The company is now just 3% away from reaching its goal of owning 5% of Ethereum's total supply, a target it aims to achieve within the next 15 months.
