Bitmine Nears Ethereum Staking Milestone with Record Holdings

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has significantly increased its Ethereum holdings over the past week, adding another 9,926 ETH to its portfolio. This brings Bitmine's total ETH holdings to approximately $11 billion, which represents roughly 4.8% of all ETH in circulation.

According to Chairman Tom Lee, Bitmine now owns more staked ETH than any other entity worldwide. With the projected ETH staking reward standing at $287 million on an annualized basis, Bitmine's efforts to scale up its Ethereum holdings are paying off.

In addition to its Ethereum investments, Bitmine has also been repurchasing its own shares under a previously authorized $4 billion share-repurchase program. The company has already repurchased over 20.8 million shares since July 1st, with the latest purchase totaling 1.7 million shares.
