Bitmine Reaches $14.9 Billion in Crypto Holdings Amid Ethereum Surge

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced that its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.85 million tokens, representing 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million.

This milestone was achieved in just 14 months, putting Bitmine 97% of the way to its goal of acquiring 5% of the ETH supply, dubbed 'the Alchemy of 5%.'

Bitmine's chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that the recent 30% gain in Ethereum is a positive sign for crypto investors.

Lee noted that this weekly gain was preceded by similar instances in May 2025 and July 2021, which were followed by subsequent gains of +170% and +167%, respectively.
