Bitmine Reaches 4.9% ETH Holdings Milestone Amid Crypto Market Surge
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.93 million tokens, making up 4.9% of the total ETH coin supply of 122.0 million. This milestone comes just 15 months after the company was on track to achieve the 'Alchemy of 5%'.
The company's crypto equities are among the top performers in the Russell 1000, with four out of the top 21 stocks being crypto-related. Bitmine common stock has seen a gain of 99% quarter to date, ranking fourth best in the Russell 1000.
Ethereum is also leading as the best-performing macro asset in Q3 2026, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5,430bp. Thomas 'Tom' Lee, chairman of Bitmine, stated that this shows crypto equities are making a significant contribution to Russell 1000 gains.
