Bitmine Reaches 96% of 'Alchemy of 5%' Goal in Under 13 Months
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced that its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.79 million tokens, representing 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million. This milestone comes just 13 months into Bitmine's goal of acquiring 5% of the ETH supply.
The company's crypto and cash holdings now total $11.8 billion, with a significant portion coming from its Ethereum stake. As of July 26, 2026, Bitmine had staked 4,917,189 ETH on the MAVAN platform, generating an annualized yield of approximately $254 million.
'Bitmine has staked more ETH than other entities in the world,' said Thomas 'Tom' Lee, Chairman of Bitmine. 'At scale (when Bitmine's ETH is fully staked by MAVAN and its staking partners), the projected ETH staking reward is $299 million on an annualized basis.'
