Bitmine Reaches New Milestone with 5.8 Million Ethereum Holdings

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.8 million tokens, accounting for 4.8% of the total ETH supply of 120.7 million. This milestone marks significant progress towards Bitmine's goal of acquiring 5% of the ETH coin supply.

As of August 2, 2026, Bitmine's crypto holdings include 5,797,813 ETH at $1,880 per ETH, valued at approximately $11 billion. The company also holds $209 in Bitcoin (BTC), a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, and a $61 million stake in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS).

Bitmine's Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, commented on the company's progress, stating that since its pivot to an Ethereum Treasury strategy last year, sizable outperformance of ETH has typically been followed by Bitmine's shares outperforming ETH over the following month.
