Bitmine Reveals $15.6 Billion Holdings, Including Record-Breaking ETH Stake
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc., a blockchain technology infrastructure company, has announced its holdings totaling $15.6 billion as of August 30, 2026. The company's crypto assets comprise 5.9 million ETH tokens, worth approximately $12.7 billion at the current market price of $2,511 per ETH. This represents 4.9% of the total ETH supply of 120.7 million.
Bitmine's holdings also include a stake in Eightco (NASDAQ: ORBS), valued at $81 million, and cash and marketable securities totaling $541 million. The company's Bitcoin (BTC) holdings amount to 211 coins, and it also has a significant position in Beast Industries, worth $180 million.
The announcement comes as Ethereum (ETH) remains the best-performing macro asset in the third quarter of 2026, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5,430 basis points through last Friday. Thomas 'Tom' Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, attributed this performance to several factors, including the upcoming CLARITY Act vote and increased institutional participation in buying crypto.
Bitmine's staking operations have generated a significant yield for the company, with an annualized 7-day yield of 2.63%. The company has also seen substantial growth in its trading volume, with average daily dollar volume reaching $1.36 billion as of August 29, 2026.
