Bitmine Stock Rises on Share Buyback and Ethereum Accumulation
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) stock climbed 4% to $18 on August 17, after the company revealed a major share buyback and Ethereum accumulation.
The company executed a 1.7 million share repurchase during the week ending August 14, bringing the cumulative total to more than 20.8 million shares since July 2026 under a $4 billion authorization.
Bitmine's Ethereum portfolio now totals 5.82 million tokens, representing 4.8% of ETH's circulating supply at $1,893 valuation, with staked ETH valued at $9.6 billion.
