BitMine Stock Tumbles Amid Regulatory Uncertainty
BitMine Immersion Technologies saw its stock plummet by 6.31% on Friday to $16.94, according to Benzinga Pro data.
The decline is attributed to regulatory uncertainty surrounding a crucial piece of legislation that has yet to pass.
According to Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan, the act's passage has only a coin flip's chance and the industry will be too big to kill two years from now.
Joseph Lubin, Chairman of SharpLink Gaming Inc, also commented on the situation, stating that SharpLink and BitMine have emerged as the dominant Ethereum treasury companies, with BitMine boasting stronger retail engagement.
The stock's technical analysis is bearish, with BMNR trading below its 100-day SMA ($18.83) and 200-day SMA ($25.33), indicating a bigger downtrend.
