BitMine Surpasses $14 Billion in Ethereum Holdings with Aggressive Buying

BitMine Immersion Technologies has made significant strides in its pursuit of owning 5% of Ethereum's total supply. The company added 32,447 ETH last week, bringing its holdings to 5,847,611 tokens worth approximately $14.3 billion.

This acquisition marked a notable acceleration from BitMine's previous weekly purchases, which averaged around 9,250 tokens per week over the past three weeks.

BitMine chairman Tom Lee noted that Ethereum gained 30% in the past week, its largest weekly gain since May 2025. Despite this recent surge, BitMine chose to buy heavily into the market's strength rather than pull back or slow its pace.
