Bitmine Surpasses $15 Billion in Crypto Holdings, Eyes 5% ETH Target
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has reached an impressive milestone in its Ethereum holdings, boasting 5.96 million tokens valued at $15.8 billion. This significant increase is a testament to the company's commitment to accumulating crypto for long-term investment. As of September 13, 2026, Bitmine's total holdings include 5,956,378 ETH, valued at $2,513 per ETH, as well as 212 BTC and various stakes in other companies.
The company's chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, expressed his enthusiasm for the current market trends, stating that Ethereum has strengthened its position as a settlement rail for Wall Street tokenization. He also noted that the price ratio of ETH to BTC is at its highest level since January 30th of this year, establishing a new uptrend and breaking the trendline in place since the COVID-19 highs.
Bitmine's track record of consistent buying of crypto has been impressive, with the company acquiring 27,180 ETH over the past week. This strategy is expected to continue, with Tom Lee stating that institutions will likely add to their crypto holdings given the substantial outperformance of crypto versus other macro assets in calendar Q3 so far.
