Bitmine Surpasses $15 Billion in Holdings Amid Aggressive Ethereum Accumulation
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has announced significant growth in its Ethereum holdings. According to recent data, the company's ETH stash now stands at 5.93 million tokens, which represents 4.9% of the total circulating supply of ETH, valued at $2,495 per unit on Coinbase. This substantial accumulation puts Bitmine as the largest Ethereum holding entity worldwide and second-largest globally behind Strategy Inc.
The company's overall holdings have reached an impressive $15.7 billion, comprising crypto assets, cash, marketable securities, and strategic investments known as 'moonshots.' In addition to its ETH stash, Bitmine also holds 211 Bitcoin and has significant stakes in Beast Industries ($180 million) and Eightco Holdings ($91 million), which provides indirect exposure to OpenAI.
Furthermore, 5.07 million ETH are already staked through MAVAN, an institutional staking platform launched by the company, with a projected annualized yield of $386 million at a 2.61% weekly return. Thomas Lee, chairman of Bitmine, highlighted that ETH has been the best-performing macro asset in the third quarter of 2026, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5,430 basis points.
Bitmine's common stock has also seen remarkable growth, gaining 99% so far this quarter and ranking fourth-best performer within the Russell 1000 index since its inclusion on June 26, 2026.
