Bitmine Surpasses 5% Target for ETH Holdings
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) recently announced that its Ethereum holdings have reached 4.976 million tokens, accounting for 4.12% of the total ETH supply.
The company has been aggressively buying into Ethereum, with a pace of acquisition that is among the highest in recent weeks.
According to Thomas 'Tom' Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, the mini-crypto winter may be coming to an end, and Ethereum's performance is benefiting from dual tailwinds: Wall Street tokenizing on the blockchain and agentic AI systems increasingly needing public and neutral blockchains.
